Recording for our top four is set for the BBC Maida Vale studios on Monday 16th and Sunday 22nd April 2012. There will be some great people there to perform on the songs, and we are grateful to everyone for giving us their time in support of our competition.

Anthony Head - having first appeared on our BANDAGED album we are delighted that Anthony will be adding his great vocal talent to Marina Florance's song Cry.
Best known for his role in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and more recently as King Uther Pendragon in the highly acclaimed BBC Series "Merlin", Anthony has been simmering on our television and cinema screens for some time now, having charmed the ladies with his coffee beans in the Gold Blend commercials. He also appeared as the Prime Minister in Little Britain.
FTW - www.ftwofficial.comDubbed by the media as the UK's number 1 new boy band, FTW have injected personality back into pop since exploding onto the scene in 2011. FTW will be adding great enthusiasm to Trevor and Paul's song "Loves Forever.
Having spent the last year touring the UK with a string of promotional dates appearing alongside artists such as The Saturdays, Example, Alexandra Burke, McFly plus former X Factor winners and finalists, FTW have taken the music industry by storm with the release of their debut single 'Loveshot'.
With radio roadshows, festivals and live PA’s at some of the country’s top venues under their belt, demand for FTW is very high. International bookings, sponsorship endorsements and national media interest means there's only one boy band you need to remember in 2012.

Clare Teal - Clare is a great supporter of our work and has sung on both of our BANDAGED albums. She will bring her considerable experience in recording and live performance to the song. Yorkshire born Clare is one of the most successful female British jazz singers in decades with a string of albums behind her, including the UK National Top 20 hit "Don't Talk" and her highly acclaimed album "Hey Ho" released in 2011. But it is her ability to deliver great ballads, as anyone who has heard her version of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" will know, (on the Hey Ho Album) that she will bring to the singing of Maggie Duffy's beautiful song "Peace For The Child"
Andrea Ryder - Soprano Andrea Ryder Andrea began singing at an early age and was lucky enough to be offered a place with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain at age 14. She toured the world with the choir and decided that Singing was a career she would like to pursue.
In 2007 Andrea made the final 12 in the “overs” category on ITV’s X Factor with Simon Cowell describing her rendition of Nessun Dorma as “Absolutely Terrific.....very, very moving.”
Andrea is the voice on the original submission by John Mackfall on his "Requiem For A Soldier" and will record the song again at Maida Vale.

Anthony Head will provide lead vocals on songwriter Marina Florance’s beautiful song “Cry”. Marina has always written songs although it’s only in recent years she says she has had the courage to share them with a wider audience. She said “I realised that the only way they would ever be heard was to get out and sing them myself, I was surprised and pleased at the response!” Anthony Head first appeared on the Charity Goods BANDAGED album and we are delighted that he will be adding his great vocal talent to “Cry”. Best known for his role in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and more recently as King Uther Pendragon in the highly acclaimed BBC Series "Merlin".
FTW will sing “Loves Forever” penned by songwriting duo Trevor Wiles and Paul Hadler who have been writing songs together for over 30 years. Trevor and Paul met while playing in a band In the early 80’s but decided that song writing rather than playing cover versions of others songs was more their thing. FTW have been dubbed by the media as the UK's number 1 new boy band. They have injected personality back into pop since exploding onto the scene in 2011. With radio roadshows, festivals and live PA’s at some of the country’s top venues under their belt, demand for FTW is very high
Clare Teal is probably best know as one of the UK’s finest jazz singers but she can turn her hand to many formats and it is her ability to make ballads her own that she will bring to Maggie Duffy’s song “Peace For The Child”. Maggie says “I was always a bit shy of performing my own songs, afraid I might be judged a bit harshly, but I tried out one or two and they seemed to go down OK and my confidence grew.” Clare Teal is a great supporter of our work and has sung on both of our BANDAGED albums.

In 2007 Andrea made the final 12 in the “overs” category on ITV’s X Factor with Simon Cowell describing her rendition of Nessun Dorma as “Absolutely Terrific.....very, very moving.” Andrea is the voice on the original submission by John Mackfall on his "Requiem For A Soldier" and will record the song again at Maida Vale. John has been a musician for the best part of 47 years. He says “My appreciation of music began as a small boy where I listened to monstrous masterpieces of works by Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Mendelssohn and many other great composers on my grandmother’s huge old pre war radio. I am a self taught musician and have played a myriad of instruments, and I was a gigging musician until the age of 48 but decided to retire and concentrate on composing instead.
